"Reach For Me" won the top two awards at the Lake Arrowhead International Film Festival on 04/04/2009 taking home both the Best Feature Film and Best of the Festival Awards. "'Reach For Me' resonated with every member in the audience; its message came home and is still with them today. The only criticism I received was that we didn't have enough kleenex in the theatre! This was our best attended film and the win was a unanimous decision," said Mary Dippell, Lake Arrowhead Festival Director.

The film is the story of Alvin (Seymour Cassel) who simply wants some peace and quiet in his final days, but his young hospice roommate Kevin (Johnny Whitworth) has decided to enjoy every minute to its fullest. Kevin's girlfriend Sarah (Lacey Chabert) is determined to make Kevin's last moments fun and meaningful, in turn forcing Alvin to reflect on his own life.
